Uhhhhhh......

Hello Family and Friends!

This blog post will be short and sweet. I just wanted to give a quick update before I embark upon my next holiday vacation. I will be leaving for London and Amsterdam in less than two weeks!! I simply cannot wait! I am headed there with the team, Taylor and Allison. I think three people constitute a team, yeah pretty sure.

I know I have said this in probably every post, but I am so unbelievably fortunate to have the family and friends that I have. It is truly amazing how I know so many kind, thoughtful, and just plain awesome people. I love you guys, please know that.

I wanted to reiterate my love for ya'll back home because I have some news. I believe I told you that I did not renew my contract with my current school. I don't believe it is the right fit for me. I looked for jobs in other countries and back home and ended up applying and accepting a job here in Kuwait. It is another bilingual school (there are many here). I believe this is a great opportunity for me and I am unbelievably excited for this next step. The school environment seems to be exactly what I am looking for. Also, I am just not ready to come back to the states for a few different reasons. 1) I don't feel as if I have gained as much as I had hoped from teaching English Language Learners. I feel there is much more room for me to grow and develop as a teacher. 2) I caught the travel bug. I need to experience more countries. 3) I never thought I would say this (considering my profession) but money. I have a greater chance to save and pay off my student loans here than in the US.

I will be home for the summer (June 20 ish to early/mid August?) and I plan on making the most out of my time back in the states. I am highly anticipating summer, but have many things to look forward to until then.

Here are some picture updates:

Skyping with Nicky and we took a zillion screen shots.

 Same Screenshot session

 ....and more....

Loved Skyping with this beautiful family! Had to post the pic with both kids! (Not the best screenshot but I tried!)

My kids making an atom. Look at that nucleus. So on point.
